Five winners of the H&M Global Change Award could change the face of fashion

by | Mar 15, 2018

Who would have thought that soon we will be wrapping ourselves up in mushroom, pineapple waste or cow manure? Well, it’s not so far fetched. New textiles are being developed all the time that will help lighten the carbon footprint of the fashion industry. And, it’s happening quicker than you think.

H&M’s annual Global Change Award, initiated by the non-profit H&M Foundation, spurs early stage innovations in helping fashion recirculate valuable resources. An international panel of experts has chosen this year’s five game changing ideas which can help make fashion circular – and protect our planet.

Now H&M Foundation wants us to decide how to share the 1 million euro grant among the five winners. Below are the winning ideas (chosen from 2,600 entries from 151 countries!).

Visit globalchangeaward.com to vote for your favourite concept. Voting closes tomorrow, 16 March.
