In celebration of South Africa’s sustainable fashion designers, this new editorial showcases sustainably and ethically made garments designed by Twyg Sustainable Fashion Awards 2023 finalists. Thirty one finalists were selected from a total of 103 nominations by an independent and international jury of experts. The winners of the 11 awards categories were announced at an event on 23 November in Cape Town, where this editorial featured against a wall in the venue. Photographed by Luxolo Witvoet, the shoot was directed by Tandekile Mkize and styled by Thapelo Mofokeng. Read more about all finalists and winners here. Full credits below.

Munkus is the winner of the Trans-seasonal Design Award presented by COUNTRY ROAD, and took home the overall Changemaker Award presented by Foschini.
