In Circulation
In Circulation is a temporary publishing installation curated by Twyg, presented as a newsstand of independent fashion and cultural zines, artist publications, pamphlets, and printed experiments that explore how storytelling can shape more responsible, reflective, and humane fashion systems.
In Circulation presents fashion as a cultural practice that carries histories, labour, values, and ecological consequences. The installation, co-produced with Letterhead and MakeSpace by Wunders, invites visitors to pause, read, and engage with fashion as a site of meaning, not only consumption or spectacle.
In Circulation positions publishing as a cultural practice and storytelling as a form of infrastructure: a way of shaping how fashion is understood, valued, and made accountable. Circulating ideas. Circular Design. Circulating materials.
The installation takes the form of a contemporary newsstand designed by Heath Nash at Makespace by Wunders, housing a curated selection of printed matter ,including:
- zines
- posters and postcards
- material studies
experimental publishing projects
Visitors are invited to browse, read, and engage with the publications, and to encounter fashion through language, images, and ideas rather than product alone.
It is designed to be accessible, tactile, and reflective.
