Atunda African slow fashion pop up in London
Atunda, the curated omnichannel retail-tech platform designed to scale the reach of premium African slow fashion, is bringing its immersive retail experience to Soho, London, from April 2 to April 6, 2026. It is open to the public.
For five days, London shoppers will have the rare opportunity to browse and shop a meticulously curated selection of high-crafted items from African slow fashion brands, and even meet some of their favourite designers in person.
From handwoven textiles to avant-garde silhouettes, the concept store pop-up line up features both heavyweights and rising stars of the African slow fashion landscape. Participating brands include Ajanee, ByFalase, Fruche, Garbe, Henri Uduku, Kilokosi, Ivory Afrikaan, Mairachamp, Maliko, Nitemi, Nyosi, Patendoyart, Riran, Seki, THIS IS US, Unrefyned, Wande Esan, and Ywande.
“In-person retail is critical for building trust and community in premium fashion, yet the traditional system is rigged against slow and small-batch creators,” said Elizabeth Abati, founder and director of Atunda Retail. “With this London pop-up, we are utilising the collective power of independent African slow fashion brands to host a major retail activation, right in the heart of London’s elite shopping district.”
