We often forget that there is so much depth to the process of making textiles and to fashion. To unlearn fast fashion practices, we unlearn the idea of fashion as fashion’s sake and shift our towards creating, valuing, and wearing clothing. This conversation unpacks the significance of textiles and tactile practices as mediums for storytelling, archiving, and acts of care as ways to unpack how change will present itself as a tapestry of incremental actions in the fashion industry.
