Leandi Mulder creates thoughtfully woven, felted, and knitted pieces, respecting every stage of the value chain— from growing and nurturing to harvesting, distributing, designing, and manufacturing. Leandi approaches design from the fibre outward, prioritising sustainable farming, organic practices, and designing in harmony with nature.

Resources and materials
- Pieces are made using discarded fabrics, over-runs, or dead stock
- Dead stock cotton, mohair, and wool are sourced from local manufacturers, all of whom adhere to social responsibility certifications
- The label primarily uses natural fabrics, with a strong emphasis on locally produced mohair, as its entire supply chain is traceable
Making and manufacturing
- Woven and felted textiles are crafted by Leandi Mulder
- Knitwear pieces are produced in collaboration with Wrapt in Johannesburg, using vintage domestic knitting machines and hand-knitting techniques
- Pattern pieces are designed with a near-zero-waste approach

- Predominantly works with women artisans living in remote areas across the country

- Items are packaged in reusable bags made from Hemporium’s locally sourced raw hemp or calico offcuts
