DROOMER
Central to Droomer's concept of sustainability is the belief that objects should be imbued with meaning, magic, and history, moving beyond apathetic consumerism. Droomer garments are modern heirlooms—thoughtfully designed, wearable works of art intended to be passed down through generations. Each item is hand-crafted by Cleo Droomer in a careful and time-intensive process.

Resources and materials
- Over 70% of textiles used are upcycled or offcuts diverted from landfill
- Sourced fabric comes from local suppliers such as Hemporium or end-of-run fabric
- Predominantly uses natural fibres, including 100% cotton, hemp, linen, and offcuts
- Dyes are 100% natural, plant-based
- Offcuts are used for future patchwork textile development
Making and manufacturing
- All garments are sewn by Cleo Droomer, with assistance from two local seamstresses
- The studio uses natural light and minimal electricity
- Work is stitched by hand or with an energy-efficient Jack machine
Social and cultural
- Collaborates with Langulapu Fabrics for natural dyeing
- Collaborates with the Coastal Justice Network
- Helped establish Sophakama Sewing Cooperative and Women in Sea Programme

- Garments are trans-seasonal, genderless, and reversible
