Casbeth
After witnessing the harm of overproduction and waste in the fashion industry, Casbeth Tshegofatso Marobane founded her eponymous label in 2025. Casbeth creates creative and culturally inspired pieces with a focus on craftsmanship, heritage and conscious design.

Resources and materials
- Uses materials that are durable, natural or recycled
- Works with upcycled and secondhand materials, such as curtains, sheets, tablecloths, and clothing
- Incorporates unconventional materials from waste streams, such as aluminium blinds and mosaic glass offcuts
Making and manufacturing
- Produces small batches to minimise waste
- Each piece is made by hand by Casbeth herself

- Drapes on dress forms to reduce waste in the cutting process
- Has a made-to-order model
